My referral to Dr Hasan and her team has been a blessing. They worked hard to round up my recent x-rays and lab results so Dr Hasan could make an informed diagnosis. I particularly appreciated her emphasis that I remain patient over several months while the medication dosages and decisions evolve. Doctor is good. Clinic is neat and clean. Staff members are also nice but I have to address this.
I arrived 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment time, but wasn't seen until 1 hour after the scheduled start time. They gave me a bunch of papers to fill again for the second time after I submitted them online. They called my name after an hour waiting and after 15 minutes of waiting again inside the room, a medical staff member came and asked the same questions again for 30 minutes despite submitting all the required paperwork online. I was asked to re-answer the same medical history questions by the receptionist, medical assistant and nurse. This repetition felt inefficient and frustrating, especially given the lengthy wait. The examination itself was good, but the overall experience was marred by the administrative process. I spent over 3 hours in the clinic today. This is insanely crazy.

Competency is NOT the problem with this practice. I have NEVER had an appointment that didn’t take a minimum of 90 min to 2 hours from arrival to finish. The time is spent ENTIRELY either in the waiting room or in the patient room. They do not schedule their appointments with appropriate time which means there is always a backlog. I’ve never needed more than 10-15 minutes max and I realize that is not the case for all patients, but that should be pre-determined when the appt is scheduled. If this were a one time problem I’d chalk it to an exception, but I’ve had 6 or more appts (over the last 2.5 years) and it’s ALWAYS the same. Even after they moved to a bigger (and beautiful) office, with closer parking, this still happened. The staff is VERY friendly and no complaints with the treatment. One of the first questions they always ask is whether I’m having anxiety and every time my response is “not until I arrived here and had to wait for and hour and half”. It’s really TOO BAD.
